This park is located on the Wirral bank of the River Mersey, profferring fantastic views across the estuary. Eastham consists of 100 acres of broadleaf woodland with surfaced walking paths and a cycle track. The park has a visitor centre, tea garden and two riverside pubs.
The Wirral Circular Trail, passes the park. You could pick this up and head north to visit the wonderful model village of Port Sunlight with its Grade I listed buildings and lovely riverside park.
Just to the north west there's some peaceful woodland trails around Storeton Woods in Bebington.

Pubs/Cafes

The park is in a great spot for refreshments with a few choices on offer. The lovely cottage tea rooms is located in the park and has a nice garden area.
The Tap Pub is also right next to the park and the river. You can sit outside in the splendid large garden and enjoy views across the River Mersey to Liverpool. You can find it at 1a Ferry Rd, Eastham with postcode CH62 0AU for your sat navs.

Dog Walking

With its miles of woodland trails the park is ideal for dog walking so you're probably going to plenty of other owners on your visit. The Tap Pub mentioned above is also dog friendly.

Further Information and Other Local Ideas

Just to the south of the park you can pick up the Ellesmere Port Walk in the nearby town. The interesting port town includes the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port docks. The fascinating museum is concerned with the history of the UK's rivers and canals, with exhibits including canal boats, traditional clothing and steam engines. It's a nice place for a stroll with a number of surfaced footpaths to follow around the site. You can also pick up the Shropshire Union Canal here and follow the towpath south in the countryside.
In the town you'll also find two more country parks in the shape of Rivacre Valley Country Park and Stanney Woods. Both have pleasant woodland trails with lots of wildlife to see.
