Lewes to Firle Walk

This walk takes you from Lewes to Firle Beacon and the village of Firle on the South Downs.
Starting from Lewes the first section takes you east to Mount Caburn where you can enjoy some fine views over the Downs from the hill summit.
The route continues to Glynde village where you could visit the historic Glynde Place.
From here you head south to climb to another fine viewpoint at Beddingham Hill. Here you pick up The South Downs Way and follow the waymarked trail east to Firle Beacon which stands in a great spot at a height of 217 metres.
The final section takes you from the beacon into the pretty village of Firle where you can enjoy some refreshments and a rest.
