Llanferres Walks

This village is located in Denbighshire and is a great place for exploring the Clwydian Range on foot.
Local highlights include the woodland and river trails at Loggerheads Country Park and the splendid viewpoints at Moel Famau Country Park which lies just a couple of miles to the west.
This circular walk from the village explores explores the park visiting the Foel Fenlli hill fort, the Jubilee Tower and the Clywd Forest. The route uses a section of the epic Offa's Dyke Path which runs just to the west of the settlement. On the way there are some splendid views over the mountains to the coast.

Pubs/Cafes

Back in the village you can enjoy some well earned refreshments at the Druid Inn on Ruthin Road (Postcode for sat navs:CH7 5SN). Here you'll find a tremendous olde worlde atmosphere with low beamed ceilings and in the winter roaring log fires. The pub has a great menu, a nice outdoor seating area with countryside views and is also dog friendly.
Also on the Ruthin Road is We Three Loggerheads. This pub is set in a restored 17th century coaching inn with a traditional bar and a beautiful vaulted restaurant.
