Punchbowl Walk Abergavenny

4.2 miles (6.8 km)

This circular walk explores a wonderful area on the eastern side of Blorenge mountain near Abergavenny.
There's a public car park just south of the Punchbowl where you can start your walk. From here follow the trails west and then north to reach the site.... Here you will find a wooded glacial cwm containing a man-made lake. From the hill top there are some splendid views over the small lake to the surrounding hills and mountains of the Brecon Beacons.
The route then descends through woodland to join up with the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal where you can enjoy a waterside stroll before heading through the countryside to the car park.
