The trail runs through a peaceful mixed woodland overlooking the Dornoch Firth, with a series of ...carved wooden sculptures placed along the route. These artworks, created by local artists, depict local wildlife and figures inspired by Highland folklore, adding an imaginative touch to the natural surroundings.
The waymarked path follows forest tracks and grassy trails beneath tall pines and birch trees, with occasional clearings offering glimpses across the firth towards Embo and the distant hills.
