Next to the woods you will find The Greyhound at Tidmarsh. The quaint old thatch inn dates all the way back to the 12th century and is well worth a visit after your walk. It's very well located opposite the village green at a postcode of RG8 8ER.
The woods are a fine place for a dog walk and you will probably meet several other pets with their owners on your visit. The Greyhound pub mentioned above is also dog friendly.
