This waymarked circular walk takes you through the moorland and lowland raised bogs around the town of Thorne near Doncaster. The walk visits Crowle, Belton, Epworth, Haxey, Kirk Bramwith and Sykehouse.
You will also cross the famous Thorne Moors and Hatfield Moors, wildlife sites of national and European importance. The walk includes some easy waterside sections along the River Don and the New Junction Canal.

Hatfield Moors. Typical scenery in this area, part of the Humberhead Peatlands National Nature Reserve. Mixture of trees, man-made lakes, grasses and peat. Lots of spongy peat underfoot makes it a delight to walk upon.
