Pubs/Cafes

The Star Inn in Pershore is a riverside pub in a great location. The historic pub is set in a fine 15th century coaching inn and does excellent food. There's a snug interior and a lovely beer garden right next to the river for warmer days. You can find the inn at 23 Bridge Street with a postcode of WR10 1AJ for your sat navs.
The Old Bull in Inkberrow is a worthy establishment to investigate. The 16th century inn includes a charming interior with old beams and inglenook fireplaces. The pub has some interesting history having thought to have been the stop-off point for William Shakespeare, as he was travelling to Worcester to collect his marriage licence to Anne Hathaway. They serve fine home cooked food and also have an outdoor area overlooking the village. The Bull, the fictional Ambridge pub in the Radio soap 'The Archers', is supposed to be based on The Old Bull.
You can find them in a nice spot on the village green at postcode WR7 4DZ for your sat navs.
Near the route you can stop off at the worthy village of Berkswell. Here you'll find the noteworthy Berkswell Inn. The Grade II listed inn dates back to the 16th century. The timber framed building has some interesting history such as when it hosted Cromwell’s troops in the English Civil War, and when Blitz-affected Coventry citizens slept on its ancient wooden floors during the second World War. There's a charming interior with ancient oak beams, log fires and private nooks and crannies. Outside there's a lovely garden area for warmer days.
Shakespeare refers to Warwick’s emblem ‘The rampant bear chain’d to the ragged staff’ in Henry VI, and a giant wooden bear climbing a pole can still be seen outside the pub today.
They serve a fine Sunday roast and can be found at Spencer's Lane with postcode CV7 7BB for your sat navs.
The village is also worth exploring with a Norman church, a pretty village green and some picturesque thatched cottages.
In nearby Balsall Common there's Ye Olde Saracens Head. The pub dates back to the 16th century and serves high quality dishes from an extensive menu. You can find them on Balsall Street with a postcode of CV7 7AS for your sat navs.
