Ightham Mote to Knole Park Circular Walk

7.5 miles (12 km)

This circular walk links two of the major walking highlights of the Sevenoaks area. It runs for about 7.5 miles, following the public footpaths that run through the area.
The walk starts at Igtham Mote where you'll find hundreds of acres of woodland, gardens and parkland surrounding a medieval moated manor house.... From here you can follow the Greensand Way west to One Tree Hill and the Bitchet Common Site of Special Scientific Interest. There are some fine views from the waymarked trail as you pass through the peaceful woodland and countryside of the area.
The route then enters the expansive Knole Park where there's 500 resident deer, ancient woodland, dry heathland, acid grassland and wood pasture. You'll pass the historic Knole House before turning east to follow footpaths to Godden Green before returning to Ightham Mote.
