Inveraray Watchtower Walk

3 miles (4.8 km)

This walk takes you up to the wonderful viewpoint at Dłn na Cuaiche in the town of Inveraray.
You can start the walk from the historic Inveraray Castle where there is a good sized car park.... The route then follows gradually rising trails through the woodland to the tower. Here you can enjoy some wonderful views over Loch Fyne, the castle and the surrounding mountains. There's also the site of an ancient Iron Age Hillfort at the top.
You can continue your walking in the area on the Inveraray Forest Circular Walk which explores the woodland, ponds, and waterfalls to the north and west of the castle.
