National Cycle Route 65
on this lovely largely traffic free route. You start by the tourist information centre in Hull and soon join the Hornsea Rail Trail which forms part of the
Trans Pennine Trail
. This dismantled railway line track takes you all the way to Hornsea on the coast. Also of interest on the route is
Hornsea Mere
- the largest natural freshwater lake in Yorkshire.
