Broadsands to Brixham Coastal Walk

This coastal walk runs east from the car park at Broadsands Beach to Churston Point and on to Brixham Harbour.
From the beach you join the South West Coast Path and follow it above the shoreline, with steady views across Tor Bay as the route rises gently. The path soon leads into the wooded slopes behind Broadsands, where the trees provide some shelter before the trail opens out again near the headland.
At Churston Point the coastline becomes more rugged, with small coves, rocky outcrops and clear views towards Brixham and Berry Head.... The surrounding woodland and scrub often hold common coastal birds, while the waters below can attract cormorants and shags resting on the rocks.
Beyond the point the path descends towards the outskirts of Brixham, passing attractive sections of shoreline before reaching the harbour. Here the walk finishes among the fishing boats, piers and waterfront buildings that mark the centre of the town.
You could extend the walk by visiting Berry Head Country Park.
