Llyn Sarnau Walk

On the way there are some peaceful woodland trails and lovely views over the lake to the surrounding woodland. The area also has a rich history of lead and zinc mining, featuring remnants such as old engine houses, waste tips, and covered mine shafts.... Several historic mine sites, including Sarnau, Gorlan, Llanrwst, and All-wen Lead Mines, are located near Llyn Sarnau. Visitors can explore areas like the Cyffty Mine trail, which details mining operations and history, while being advised to stay on marked paths due to unprotected drops and old buildings.
To continue your lakeside walking in the area head north to visit Llyn Geirionydd. You could also visit the popular village of Betws y Coed for refreshments and more walking ideas.
