Lough Acoose Walk
3.6 miles (5.8 km)This walk visits Lough Acoose in County Kerry in the south west of Ireland.
The lough is located on the Iveragh Peninsula with fine views over the water to the MacGillycuddy's Reeks mountains. There's some quiet country lanes where you can enjoy a stroll close to the water.
You can continue your lakeside walking by heading north to visit Caragh Lake.... The climb to Carrauntoohil is also nearby.
The long distance Kerry Way passes the lake too. See the video below for views of the lake.
