Whitemoor Trail and Blakemere - Delamere

This circular walk follows the Whitemoor Trail in Delamere Forest. The route takes you through the forests peaceful trails and past the Blakemere Moss lake.
The paths wind through mixed woodland, with sections that feel enclosed by trees before opening out near the lake.... Blakemere Moss is a focal point of the walk, with boardwalks and viewpoints that allow you to look out across the water.
The area supports a range of wildlife, particularly around the moss, where waterfowl and other birds are often seen. The forest setting also provides habitat for smaller woodland species, adding quiet interest as you complete the loop.
