. The route starts near

tourist information centre and heads east to
Skellingthorpe
wood on off roads tracks, and a pleasant stretch along the
Fossdyke Canal
. You then turn south towards Newark following a series of quiet country roads with a section along the River Trent taking you to the finish point at the train station.
