Ben Chonzie Circular Walk

This circular walk explores the area around Loch Turret near Crieff in Perth and Kinross.
The route begins at the car park at the southern end of Loch Turret and climbs to the peaks of Carn Chois and Ben Chonzie before returning through Glen Turret.... The walk offers superb views over the Perthshire hills, the reservoir, Lochan Uaine and the surrounding moorland, with heather-covered slopes and open ridges providing a classic Highland landscape.
Loch Turret itself is a scenic highlight, set in a deep glen bordered by rugged hills and steep crags. The area is home to red grouse, buzzards, and mountain hares, and the clear air often gives far-reaching views towards the Trossachs and Ben Vorlich. The route provides a fine mix of high-level walking and lochside scenery, showcasing some of the best upland terrain in this part of Scotland.
