Bryn Celli Ddu Walk

This circular walk takes you to the ancient Bryn Celli Ddu chambered tomb Menai Bridge on Anglesey.
The walk starts from the car park near the site. From here you can pick up footpaths taking you along the River Braint to the tomb.
Bryn Celli Ddu is one of Wales's most important Neolithic monuments, thought to date from around 3000 BC.... Probably it's most remarkable feature can only be seen once a year, when at sunrise on the summer solstice, shafts of light shine directly down the tomb’s passageway to illuminate the inner chamber.
You can continue your walking in the area by exploring the lovely grounds of the nearby Plas Newydd. Penrhyn Castle is also nearby.
