12.8 miles (20.6 km)

This circular walk climbs to the 3 Cheshire peaks of Tegg's Nose, Shining Tor and Shutlingsloe.
The route runs for 12.8 miles, following a series of footpaths through the western edge of the Peak District National Park.
You can start the walk from the visitor centre and car park at Tegg's Nose Country Park, a few miles east of Macclesfield.... From here you head west to climb to the fine viewpoint at Tegg's Nose.
The route then descends to Macclesfield Forest and Trentabank Reservoir where you can enjoy a waterside path along Ridgegate Reservoir and some fine woodland trails in the expansive forest.
After emerging from the forest you continue to Shutlingsloe which stands at a height of 506 metres.
The route then heads north east towards Cat's Tor and Shining Tor before descending to the pretty Lamaload Reservoir. From here you head south west to return to the Tegg's Nose car park.
