Moelwyn Mawr Walk

This walk climbs to the summit of Moelwyn Mawr in Snowdonia.
You can start off from the car park in the little village of Croesor, which lies just to the west of the mountain. From here you follow footpaths east to the 770 metre summit of Moelwyn Mawr.
On the way there are some wonderful glacial rock formations and fine views over the surrounding Vale of Ffestiniog.... Just to the east there are also great views down to Llyn Stwlan below.
You can continue your walking by climbing Cnicht. Known as the 'Matterhorn of Wales' the climb can be started from the same car park.
