Loch Eye Walk

This walk takes you to Loch Eye near the village of Hill of Fearn in Easter Ross.
You can start the walk from the Fearn railway station just west of the loch. From here you can follow roads and country lanes to Mounteagle before turning north to reach a viewpoint over the loch.... There's nice views over the loch to the surrounding hills and mountains. It's a fine spot for birdwatching too with internationally important overwintering populations of waterfowl, in particular whooper swans and Icelandic greylag geese.
You can continue your walking in the area by heading west to pick up the Aldie Burn Forest Walk.
