Breamore Railway Walk
1.9 miles (3 km)This walk follows the old Salisbury and Dorset Junction Railway through the Hampshire village of Breamore.
It's a flat, 2 mile trail running north from Burgate Cross to South Charford via the old station in Breamore. Along the way there's some fine views of the surrounding countryside of the New Forest.
You can continue your walking in Fordingbridge along the Avon Valley Path.... The riverside trail runs just to the east of the railway walk. You can also pick up the circular Godshill Walk in this area.

A walk highlight is the restored Breamore station building, which operated from 1866 until its closure in 1964 and has since been converted into a holiday let. Along the way, you can spot remnants of the line's railway past, including old concrete fencing posts and small bridges that once carried trains over the River Avon's tributaries
