Croaghaun Cliffs Walk
5 miles (8 km)This circular walk explores the Croaghaun Cliffs on Achill Island in County Mayo.
The area has the highest sea cliffs in Ireland, and the third-highest sea cliffs in Europe. There are wonderful coastal views and wildlife such as peregrine falcons, bottlenose dolphins and basking sharks to look out for.
You can continue your walking on the island by picking up the Dooagh Loop Walk.... There's more great views over the horseshoe-shaped Keem Bay, the Dingle peninsula and the surrounding Achill mountains on this trail.
