Glenbeg Lough

This walk visits Glenbeg Lough near Ardgroom on the Beara Peninsula in County Cork.
At the north western end of the lake there's a parking area where you can start your walk. From here you can pick up a lovely trail running right along the northern side of the water.... There's great views over the lake to the hills on the oppositre side.
You can continue your walking in the area at Bere Island.

Glenbeg Lough measures about 2 km (1.2 mi) long and 0.5 km (0.3 mi) wide. It lies about 40 km (25 mi) southwest of Kenmare, near the village of Ardgroom.
