Killykeen and the Lough. The Forest Park is a 240-hectare (approx. 600-acre) scenic recreation area in County Cavan, Ireland, located roughly 12km northwest of Cavan Town. Wrapped around the complex Lough Oughter lake system, it is part of the Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark and is managed by Coillte.
Killykeen Lough Oughter. The forest is mainly Norway and Sitka Spruce with a considerable amount of mixed woodland including Ash, Oak and Beech.
