Garadice Lake Walk

This walk follows the Garadice Lake Shore and Walk in the south-east of County Leitrim.
On the north eastern side of the lake there's a car park where you can pick up a 1.6km circular walk. The easy, flat paths provide some excellent views over the lake.... There's also picnic tables where you can relax and each the views with some refreshments.
The lake form part of the Shannon–Erne Waterway which you can explore further on the Ballinamore Canal Walk.

Swan Island, Garadice Lough
Garadice Lough lies on the Shannon-Erne Waterway; a crannog (early lake dwelling) can be seen out in the bay. The lake has three islands, two of which are named: Church Island and Cherry Island

Swan Island, Garadice Lough. Garadice Lough lies on the Shannon-Erne Waterway. Swan Island is a multi-activity centre for boating, kayaking and archery and also houses a restaurant. A variety of exotic animals are kept on the surrounding fields.
