The Linwood Riverside Walk is a popular trail located in Renfrewshire, near the town of Paisley. The scenic route follows the banks of the Black Cart Water and takes walkers through urban green spaces and quiet woodland areas to the south of the village.
The riverbanks are a haven for nature, where you can regularly spot wild ducks and diverse birdlife.... The area's tranquil woodland and riverside paths offer a diverse landscape for both walkers and cyclists with the route linking up with the Dairy and North Johnstone Rail Trail.
You'll pass along the old the mill lade which ran from the paper mills on Napier street to what locals called the waterfalls under the railway beyond Kintyre.
You can continue your walking and cycling at the nearby Gleniffer Braes Country Park.
