Pershore Bridges Circular Walk

3.2 miles (5.2 km)

This easy circular walk follows a peaceful stretch of the River Avon and passes through Tiddesley Wood and the surrounding Worcestershire countryside. The route is mostly flat and provides a pleasant mixture of riverside paths, woodland, pasture and apple orchards.
Tiddesley Wood is a particular highlight, with broadleaved woodland, coppiced areas and seasonal wildflowers including primroses and bluebells.... The route then climbs gently through pasture with orchards nearby, providing excellent views towards Pershore Abbey, the Cotswolds and Bredon Hill.
The walk starts and finishes at Pershore Bridges Picnic Place, crossing the medieval Pershore Bridge at the beginning of the route. The attractive Georgian town of Pershore is close by and is well worth exploring after the walk, with its historic abbey, Georgian buildings, pubs and tea shops.
