This walk explores the Town Meadows park in the Lincolnshire town of Stamford.
The route follows the River Welland as it winds through the park, with the historic Millstream flowing alongside the Meadows and providing a picturesque setting for the walk.
The open grassland provides fine views back towards Stamford, with the town's historic buildings, churches and stone bridges adding to the scenery.... The riverside paths also offer opportunities to spot wildlife, including birds and other species associated with the Millstream and Welland. The Meadows are particularly pleasant for a relaxing stroll close to the town centre.
