Dorking to Leith Hill Walk

6.5 miles (10.5 km)

This walk follows a fine section of the Greensand Way from Dorking, Leith Hill.
The route runs for about 6.5 miles following the waymarked trail from Dorking south west towards Bury Hill and Westcott. You continue past Broadmoor to Wotton Common where there are miles of woodland trails.
Continue south and you will come to Leith Hill, the highest point in the South East.... On the summit of you will find a photogenic 18th century Gothic tower, with panoramic views northwards to London and south to the English Channel. The area is run by the National Trust so the tower has been restored and contains a viewing point with a telescope and refreshments at the Tower servery. There are self guided trails through woodland, farmland and parkland.
