St Ives to Lands End Coastal Walk

This walk takes you along a section of the South West Coast Path from St Ives to Lands End. The route runs for just over 22 miles, following the trail to Zennor Head, Pendeen, Cape Cornwall and Sennen Cove before coming to Lands End.
The long-distance walk explores the wild granite coastline of the Penwith Peninsula, widely regarded as one of the finest stretches of the South West Coast Path.... Leaving St Ives, the route passes beneath rugged cliffs and heather-covered headlands before reaching Zennor Head, where sweeping views extend across the Atlantic Ocean. The coastline is renowned for its dramatic rock formations, secluded coves and the remains of Cornwall's internationally important tin mining industry, much of which forms part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.
Beyond Zennor, the path continues through one of the most remote sections of the Cornish coast, passing former engine houses, mine workings and dramatic cliff scenery around Pendeen. The iconic Geevor to Pendeen Watch coastline includes some of the best-preserved mining remains in Britain, while the lighthouse at Pendeen Watch stands high above the Atlantic on one of Cornwall's most rugged headlands.
Further west, Cape Cornwall marks one of the county's most distinctive landmarks, with its isolated rocky headland projecting into the sea and extensive views towards the Brisons rocks and the north Cornish coast. The route then continues to the sandy beach at Sennen Cove before following spectacular granite cliffs to Land's End, passing the dramatic coastal scenery of Gwennap Head and the offshore Longships Lighthouse.
Land's End is mainland England's most westerly point and one of the country's best-known landmarks. The towering granite cliffs, Atlantic swells and abundant seabird colonies make it a memorable finish to the walk, while the surrounding coastline offers some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Britain.
