Cloonfad Forest Walk
4 miles (6.5 km)This circular loop walk explores the Cloonfad Forest on the border of County Roscommon and County Galway.
You can start the walk from the Cloonfad Scenic Walks Resource Centre where parking is available.
From here you can pick up a series of waymarked trails taking you to peaceful woodland, bog and a number of interesting historical features. There's pretty heather, woodland birds and fine views of the surrounding countryside to enjoy on the way.
To continue your walking in the area head to Lough O' Flynn where there's some lovely waterside trails.
