Lough O'Flynn

The lake is located a few miles east of the town of Ballyhaunis. On the eastern side of the lake you'll find the Lough O'Flynn recreation area where facilities include a good sized car park, picnic tables and information on the local walks.
From the car park you can pick up a short circular loop walk which runs along the lake and back to the parking area.... There's also the option of continuing your walk along the quiet country lane running east of the lake. This is also suitable for a peaceful cycle ride.
You can continue your lakeside walking in the area at nearby Errit Lough. The Cloonfad Forest Walk and the Knockma Castle Hacket Walk are other good local options.
