Navenby Circular Walk
2.1 miles (3.4 km)This circular walk explores the countryside around the Lincolnshire village of Navenby. The route uses part of the Viking Way long distance trail to explore the area on the western side of the village before following minor roads back into Navenby.
Navenby is one of Lincolnshire’s historic Cliff Villages, perched on the Lincoln Edge with views west across the Witham Valley.... Its wide main street reflects its former status as a market town, while St Peter’s Church has medieval origins and the village’s history stretches back to Roman times, when a settlement stood nearby on Ermine Street. There are some fine views across the Lincolnshire countryside to enjoy from the village and surrounding footpaths.
