Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This lovely route starts in Keswick Circular first taking you round the beautiful Derwent Water before a spell by Thornthwaite Forest and then a stretch along Bassenthwaite Lake.
There's plenty of wonderful scenery on the route including views of the River Greta at the start and the lovely Newlands Valley (below). Finish point is by the River Cocker in Cockermouth.

The Reivers Route passes through Cockermouth. The popular coast to coast ride crosses the country from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. The signed trail runs mostly along National Cycle Route 10.
The Lakes And Dales Loop passes through Cockermouth. The 196 mile circular ride explores some of the best scenery in the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the River Eden Valley.
