Corstorphine Hill Walk
This walk climbs to the tower and viewpoint on Corstorphine Hill in the city of Edinburgh.
There's a nice woodland trail leading up to the hill summit where there are fine views over the city to be enjoyed. There's also a walled garden, a Cold War bunker and a 19th century tower to see. To continue your climbing in the city head up to the popular Arthur's Seat. The John Muir Way also runs across the hill. You could pick up this waymarked footpath to further explore the area.

Corstorphine Hill Tower. Also known as the Scott Tower it was built as a memorial to Walter Scott. Although access is not generally possible to the public, there are often 'open days' where access to the tower is allowed.
Woodland on Corstorphine Hill. A hill in the centre of Edinburgh which was well frequented by dog walkers on this Sunday morning. There is much rock on this hill, much of it looking like it has been quarried at some point.
