Dean Clough Reservoir
Enjoy an easy circular walk around this pretty reservoir near Great Harwood. It's a lovely peaceful spot with easy trails and lots of wildlife to look out for on the water. There's also some nice countryside and woodland footpaths surrounding the water. On the way look out for Pendle Hill which makes a splendid backdrop to the walk.
The trail runs for just over 2 miles with a couple of small climbs on the way.
To continue your walking in the area, head south to Rishton where you can pick up the towpath of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

The Lord Nelson in Langho is a good choice for some post walk refreshments. You can find it about half a mile north of the water in a convenient spot. The pub is a popular spot for walkers with a good menu and a beer garden to relax in. You can find it on Whalley Old Rd with a postcode of BB6 8DU for your sat navs.
Dog Walking
The reservoir is a popular spot for dog walkers and you'll probably see a few other owners on a fine day.

You can visit the reservoir by catching the train to Langho Station which is just to the north of the site.
