The route runs for a distance of 3.5 miles, passing along local roads and public footpaths.
Starting in Leyburn you can follow the A road east to Harmby. The road is not too busy and there some fine views over the countryside from the roadside path.
In Harmby you can explore the pretty village and visit the picturesque falls which are an impressive sight after heavy rain.
The walk then follows country footpaths and quiet lanes south of Leyburn to return to the town.
