Midhurst River Rother Walk
This riverside walk takes you from the Sussex town of Midhurst to the neighbouring village of Woolbeding where you can explore the National Trust's beautiful Woolbeding Gardens.
Starting from Midhurst you will follow public footpaths west along the River Rother with fine views of the surrounding countryside of the Rother Valley. You then arrive at Woolbeding, a distinguished horticultural site offering a captivating blend of formal garden rooms and imaginative features. It showcases a diverse range of planting, from Mediterranean-inspired dry gardens to vibrant borders, alongside architectural follies like a "ruined" abbey and the striking, kinetic Woolbeding Glasshouse which houses a unique collection of plants tracing the Silk Route.
