Osmotherley to Lordstones Walk

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This walk follows a section of the Cleveland Way from Osmotherley to Lordstones on the North York Moors.
The route runs for a distance of just under 8 miles, following the waymarked footpath east from the village. On the way you will pass close to the Cod Beck Reservoir before some peaceful woodland trails through Clain Wood.
The route then climbs to Gold Hill and Carlton Moor before coming to the Lordstones. Here you will find the ancient stones marked with the fascinating prehistoric carvings. There are also some wonderful far reaching views from the elevated spots on Cringle Moor.
