Singing Sands Trail

11 miles (17 km)

This waymarked walk explores the volcanic island of Eigg in the Scottish Inner Hebrides.
The walk climbs to Cleadale, Beinn Bhuidhe and Five Pennies with some wonderful views over the surrounding islands. Start off from the ferry terminal and then head north before picking up a circular loop around Cleadale on the northern part of the island. Here you will find some dramatic rock formations
You can continue your walking on Eigg by climbing to An Sgurr Eigg, the highest point on the island.
