The Isle of Wight is a wonderful destination for cyclists with miles of signed cycle routes crossing the island.
There is the dual attraction of miles of unspoilt countryside and wonderful coastal views which makes the Isle of Wight an attractive option for any cyclist.

Cowes to Newport | 4 miles (6.6 km) | This easy route follows the Cowes to Newport Cycle Track along National Cycle Route 23. It's about a 4 mile route, following a flat path so ideal for anyone looking for a safe easy ride. Cowes to Sandown Cycle Track | 14 miles (22.5 km) | This lovely ride takes you along National Cycle Route 23 from Cowes to Sandown on the Isle of Wight. The route runs for about 14 miles on a largely traffic free track making for a fairly easy ride. The route starts from Cowes harbour where you can pick up the signed trail and head south. The trail runs along a surfaced, traffic free path to Newport, with views of the River Medina on the way. You continue south to Blackwater and Merstone where the route bends round to the east. Here there's a run along a dismantled railway before picking up a section of the Yar River Trail. This takes you along the river into Sandown where you finish on the sea front. Newport Circular | 25 miles (40 km) | This circular ride takes you from the county town of Newport along the River Yar to Bembridge on the coast before heading back in land to Newport.
