Minehead to Blue Anchor Walk
4.3 miles (7 km)This walk follows the England Coast Path from Minehead to Blue Anchor. The route runs for just over 4 miles following the path south east along Dunster Beach to Blue Anchor.
A highlight of the walk is the stretch through the Dunster Beach area, where shingle, saltmarsh and coastal grassland provide habitat for a variety of birds and other wildlife.... Inland, the medieval village of Dunster lies just a short distance away and is famous for its historic yarn market, attractive high street and the imposing Dunster Castle, one of Somerset's best-known landmarks.
Continuing east, the route passes the dunes and beach at Blue Anchor Bay before reaching the village of Blue Anchor.
