This circular walk explores Scragh Bog on the eastern side of Lough Owel in County Westmeath.
You can enjoy a peaceful walk around the site on a series of boardwalks. The bog is known for its interesting flora and fauna deemed to be of international importance.... Look out for birds such as Skylarks and common snipe as you make your way around the reserve.
You can continue your walking in the area at Belvedere House and Lough Ennell or on the Mullingar Canal Walk.
