St Brelade to Corbiere Lighthouse Walk
3.7 miles (6 km)This walk takes you from St Brelade's Bay to the Corbiere Lighthouse.
After leaving the car park and strolling west across the golden sands of St Brelade's Bay, the path climbs away from the beach near the historic Fisherman’s Chapel and parish church. You will follow the rugged clifftops of the Jersey Coastal Path, winding through the gorse-covered headlands of the Southwest coast.... This stretch offers a hidden detour down to the secluded Beauport Bay, often cited as one of the island's most beautiful and sheltered coves.
Continuing westward through the natural countryside of La Moye, you will pass a prominent weather radar station at the top of the cliffs. This large, white spherical structure, which locals often compare to a giant golf ball on a tee, is a key landmark that signals you are nearing the island's western tip. The trail then descends towards the dramatic La Corbière Lighthouse, perched on a tidal island. If the tide is low, you can cross the concrete causeway to reach the base of the lighthouse, but be sure to check the tide times to ensure a safe return to the mainland before the water cuts off the path.
