Bures Dragon Walk

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk takes you to the Bures Dragon viewpoint in the Suffolk village of Bures.
On the walk you will enjoy a fine view of the well known chalk outline of a dragon which is located just east of the village. The figure was created as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012. 
The route also includes a visit to the noteworthy St Stephen's Chapel. The ancient chapel dates back to the early 1200s and is the oldest building in the parish.
The route also includes some fine views into the countryside of the Dedham Vale AONB.
To continue your walking in the area pick up the Bures River Walk and enjoy a stroll along the Stour Valley Path.
