Pubs/Cafes

Head about half a mile north of the reservoir car park and you'll come to the little village of Cutthorpe. Here you'll find the excellent Peacock Inn which is well worth a visit. The quality inn has a great menu and won the 2018 best dining pub and 2019 best family friendly pub. Inside there's a nice modern interior, while outside there's a pretty courtyard area for finer days. You can find it at School Hill, Main Rd, Cutthorpe with a postcode of S42 7AS for your sat navs.

Dog Walking

The reservoirs and the surrounding woodland are ideal for dog walking. You'll probably see plenty of other owners on your outing if the weather is fine. There's is some livestock in the fields surrounding the site so it might be best to keep them on leads or under close control. The Peacock Inn mentioned above is also dog friendly.
