Virginia Water to Windsor Castle Walk

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This walk takes you from Virginia Water Lake to Windsor Castle. The walk runs for about 5.5 miles, taking you through the splendid Windsor Great Park in Berkshire.
Starting from the parking area at Virginia Water you to the Obelisk Pond before picking up the Three Castles Path to take you along the famous Long Walk to Windsor Castle. The walk includes some lovely waterside paths, peaceful woodland trails fine views down the Long Walk to the historic castle. You'll also pass the noteworthy Copper Horse - an 1831 equestrian statue of George III, located at the southern end of the tree lined Long Walk.
