Powburn Railway Walk

3.1 miles (5 km)

This walk explores the area around the small village of Powburn in Northumberland.
On the walk you will pass old railway bridges and stroll along the now dismantled railway line. Along the way there's nice waterside path along the pretty Pow Burn and the River Breamish.... There's also some fine views over the surrounding countryside from the quiet country lanes surrounding the village.
To continue your walking around Powburn head west to explore the Ingram Valley and visit Linhope Spout.
