Ingram, Brough Law Hill Fort and Cochrane Pike Walk

This circular walk in the Ingram Valley climbs to the hill fort at Brough Law before heading to the nearby Cochrane Pike.
You can start the walk from the car park at Ingram and then head west to Brough Law. Here you'll find an ancient hill fort and some wonderful views from the summit. You'll then pass Whether Hill before returning to the car park.
Along the way there are other ancient Bronze Age settlements and fine views of the surrounding Cheviot Hills to enjoy. Look out for wildlife including red-kites as you make your way through the hills.
You can continue your walking in the area on the River Breamish Valley Walk.
